Not condoning abuse of officials at all, but the officiating in that Chiefs Falcons game was abysmal. As well as the ruck incident at the end there was also a forward pass leading directly to Chiefs winning try.

In this situation I feel as though Steve may be doing all he can to stand up for the little guy, the guys who have been prem whipping boys for years now (both from other teams and RFU). He overstepped the line on this occasion.
