.....for starting training on Monday despite a league-wide understanding that training should not resume until protocols had been agreed by a Professional Game Board medical group.

Dimes claimed Monday's activities didn't constitute training.

The face no sanction for the apparent breach of the agreement.

Looks like we're gearing up for the season to start up again - Faf posted that he was travelling yesterday and the JLDP posted he arrived back in the UK today

Since when has 'Fitness testing' not been the first stage of the recommencement of'Training' after a break. A "Preliminary" I suppose, in Dimes' eyes.
Somewhat canny nuanced and Cummings-esque?
A bit like a 'safety test-drive' with all available family on board. :lol

Presumably this is to give them the required 14 day isolation period upon arriving back in the UK ?

It would also suggest they anticipate restarting full training on 8th June rather than the 1st.

Doesn't that requirement kick in for travellers arriving in the UK from 8th June onwards ?

I expect the announcement of the impending quarantine will make most of those booked for the next few weeks after the 8th revise their plans and bring their trips to the Uk forward if they possibly can.......we really our stumbling our way through this pandemic with glaring errors all the way....

Surely fitness TESTING is just that. Assess the fitness of individual players following a prolonged break. Presumably, once a players level of fitness has been ascertained, then a personalised training programme is devised to be undertaken at home?

You seem to be objecting to a return to group training? There is no suggestion that the club have done this. Nothing Cummings-esque to see here!
