I have today returned home, somewhat bedraggled, and found on my doorstep a package addressed to me and containing a t-shirt described on the invoice thus: "RUGBY Team Premiership Union Fun T Shirts Awesome SALE SHARKS Fan Supporter" (their capitalisations) which was sent by someone called Cherry Red, Wells next the Sea who I find, after a search, are an eBay seller.

I have never heard of this company and a search of my eBay account and history back to the start of 2018 shows that I have never ordered anything from them - or any t-shirts from anyone. I have no intention whatsoever of paying the enclosed invoice for £15.29 so they can whistle for that.

Has anyone else received such a surprise package?

I'm tempted to wonder if someone has bought this for you as a gift.
Would it be easier to just ask cherryreddesigns why they'd sent the shirt ?

A fair point, but I was wondering whether this was some initiative or ST compensation, or whatever, by SS and I wanted first to make sure that I hadn't overlooked something from the Club.

Clearly not, so I shall now explore other avenues.

I don't think anyone selling through eBay sends anything unless it has already been paid for. Some do include a receipt that looks more like an invoice. Any way, does it fit oksy,?

@iBozz, did you see this on the BBC?

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-54055669

Thanks, I'd heard about the seeds scam but not one involving candles - or t-shirts!

I'll check it out and see if I've "left a review" on their website. If I have then I hope that I've objected to the way that they spell what as wot!

I told my flunkey to deliver it on Xmas Day but now the surprise has been spoiled. You just can't get the staff these days - they're all on holiday paid for by we taxpayers.
