Some concerning stats there, especially given the teams we have played so far. Having said that, our defensive stats are pretty good. I guess it sums up what we know - we are hard to break down but will never set the world on fire when we have got the ball

Possibly because no one beyond him gets the ball in any kind of space?...

Although our reticence to run back kicks (when appropriate) must be part of the problem too - hopefully the change of leadership changes that.

I seem to remember RJvR making several line breaks - probably more than AJM.

He tends to get defenders beaten rather than clean breaks, although he probably had a few playing at 13 in Europe.

That tells us our defence is excellent but we give a few two many opportunities away probably down to discipline and turning the ball over.
