Further to previous posts about the lopsided nature of the Cup, more fixtures have been announced ... and we're off to Brizzle on 3rd February (19:45 KO).

I'd post a link to the Offy but their security certificate seems to have expired :shifty:

According to BBC sport Sale are already through to the semi's:

Sale are already top of Pool 2 and have secured their spot in the last four, despite playing one fewer match than Leicester and Newcastle in their group.

This could get us a home semi (Not foregone, Bris not to be taken lightly, blah, blah, blah...). We currently have 14 points from 3 games, Glos have 15 points from 3 with a game to play against Exeter on Saturday, and Northampton have 17 points from 4 games. Obviously unfair, so I assume this has been added to give us a chance to improve our ranking for the semi.

The BBC report on the Exeter vs Gloucester match contains the following:
"The Cherry and Whites can still book the final place in the last four but, if last season's beaten finalists London Irish get two points from their rearranged game against Sale then Gloucester would miss out to the Exiles."
However, according to the fixtures on the offy we don't have a game against Irish, but we do have one against Bristol. Does anybody have a clue as to what's going on??

We play Bristol on Feb3 I believe.
London Irish play Bath, AFAIK fixture date has yet to be confirmed, all we know is it won't be Feb 4 as Brentford are at home.
Sale go mad in Bristol..........

3 tries and 5 conversions for the Red Roses.
