As a Scot I would have loved to see both men play at the world cup. As a sale fan it only makes us stronger with horse.

Unlucky for Horse but think he was always going to miss out with the depth they’ve got in their back 3 and the emergence of Darcy Graham. Means we now have to pick between him, Denny, Yarde, Hammersley and Ashton for our own back 3, a nice conundrum to have!

Scotland must be amazing if Strauss has been left out, he is consistently better for them than he ever was for us.

I agree. His last couple of games for the jocks were nothing special yet he played well for us towards the end of last season

He played reasonably well in 17/18 but was pretty average in 18/19 on my view, he hardly played after a bad game at Worcester

I thought he a couple of (or near) man of the match games this year but admit I don’t really remember any Scotland games in detail so it may have been some time ago.

Bit of a shame his international career has petered out after injury seemingly prevented him from a Lions selection at the point he joined us.
