Recognition that our midfield hasn’t worked for quite a while. Not seen much of him to be honest. Hope he puts in a shift.

Also interviewed by the BBC pod. There was very much an air of “this is it”

All over t'web, Manu has played last England game.
Good luck next season Manu, France or Japan.

Can't help thinking his benefit to the club has been off the field more than on it.

I hope not. I think the plan is to play him alongside RM-W.
I would prefer it if Doherty was persuaded to stay.
I just pray we get more out of him than we did with Manu.
