.......at the end` he shook his head at an England staff member and disappeared down the tunnel. It looked as thoughhis late(ish) tackle he was penalised for did for both players.

I thought he was just getting away from the Argentinians who wanted to scrap with him and told Richard Hill it was all fine
Just before it all kicked off again

His body language was angry.... Ruck website said he verbally and possibly physically assaulted Contempon off the pitch. Seems unlikely to me but let's see. It seems to me that if he has an injury or is cited for the alleged assault we won't be seeing him for a while again after England duty. Every year!

Curry was confronted by a group of aggressive Argentinian players ( you see this on camera) as he’s trying to get down the tunnel. He is then confronted in the tunnel by their coach who does not have the right to approach an opposing team’s players and needs to address any grievance with his opposite number or with officials.
Comtepomi was unprofessional in his conduct as a coach and rightly Tom pushed him away.
As far as the tackle is concerned, Curry was heading full tilt to the player and had virtually no time to change direction or pull out once the ball had been kicked . In fact he could have injured himself and the other player by trying to dive out of the way. It is unfortunate his opponent was injured but it was not malicious or bullying. It’s rugby and these incidents happen.

If this went before a citing commission (if such a thing exists for off field like this) surely the first question has to be to Contepomi - why on earth were you trying to speak to Curry in the tunnel? Did you not see the fracas that happened post game on the pitch? What were you trying to achieve?
Contepomi even admitted himself that he was accusing Curry of busting Malia's knee. Curry tells him to f**k off and pushes him out of the way.... Surely Contepomi is therefore standing pretty close to him.
Absolutely nothing here at all. I'm disappointed in Contempomi as I thought he had more integrity and credibility that this.

I reckon Contepomi's after-match comments are the major reason for this being blown out of all proportion. In his post match interview he accuses Tom of deliberately breaking his players' knee. Absolute B#$$%cks. I sort of get the tw@terrati who have never been near a rugby pitch in their lives getting their knickers in a twist over it, but the knobhead that is Andy Foode, trying to maintain some kind of relevance with his clickbait, claimed that "Tom knew what he was doing".
I reckon about half of all refs wouldn't have given a penalty, this ref may not have on a different day. I have no problem with a penalty given, but it was a borderline decision. We have all seen much later tackles result in no action at all.
