It's a good suggestion, but also there should be a definitive technical answer. Premiership Rugby/RFU/World Rugby whichever, has a minimum standard for light levels which must be met. We know this is the case since previous criticism of the lights led to a statement from Warriors management that our lights, while not the best, met the required standard.
In the professional era, the opinion of the paying customers might also be relevant (as it should be regarding beer, food, Tannoy, parking, bobbers, Pears...)

That would make a lot of sense (the bit about LED lighting being directional). It seems to me that the new lights are, for the most part, a big improvement but there are dark pools across the pitch, I guess where there are gaps in the array.
Yes but most rugby supporters are intelligent enough to know how to put their hats on the right way around.
