I haven’t taken any notice whatsoever, so I thought I’d have a look.

Took me a little while to understand the structure of a competition which starts with only 22 clubs, and has 2 pools of 6, and 2 pools of 5. Odd.

And I had to have a second look to confirm that in those pools one finds Saracens and Saints, along with Cambridge and Caldy. Wonder why they didn’t invite Droitwich or Bromsgrove?

Are Saracens sending the 3rd’s then? And if so, what’s the point?

And I see Exeter beat Bristol 75-0. Must have been exciting to watch such a close game.

Shan’t be bothering.

I watched the Ealing v Saints game on TV on Sunday and Ealing look every inch a Premiership side. All strength and power and power and strength and very very little flair. They were very good doing what they did but it was so so boring.

National League rugby this weekend where it is so much more than just bosh.
