Usually during the summer some clown announces on Blue Forum that it is the start of rugby s ‘silly season’ and that soon we will be seeing the arrival of the phenomenon known as ‘the eyeball in the sky’s.........

Well this season no such pronouncement........is this a sign of progress and that the future has much more to offer us ‘rugby nuts’.......

Well after reading the various forums and rugby press etc.... I conclude that years ‘silly season’s got even more silly.......oh roll on the holiday two weeks away from the world (Rugby included).........bring on the white jackets.......Coyb

Did not realise there was a silly season in rugby land. Judging by some of the posts on the various forums i would have thought its silly time throughout the year!!
