Hi all.
First post on the new forum!

Just thinking about taking a trip up to FGs for the Prem Sevens (tempted by the £18 ticket including pie and pint!) I can't find any news on Warriors Squad - does anyone have any info?
Anyone else going?

Yes, good to hear from you TD.

As for the 7s, I’ve just emailed via the “contact us “ on the offie...I’ll let you know what they say......

“There’s a question been asked on the new supporters’ forum

TVM @ Premiership Sevens

Regarding any information as to Worcester squad for this tournament.

Are you preparing a news item to cover team selection/tournament/ticket info?”

Response received from Lynn Reader at Warriors:-
“In answer to your query - the squad will be announced next week and tickets are available to buy from Franklin Garden.
Hope this helps
Kind regards
Lynn”

Well, that’s all right then.

Anyone watching?

Wuss v Sale should keep the board interested.

Don’t want to meet Wasps though, they’ve just thumped Bath 50-5

Well that was entertaining enough.

Take off the first Sale try for a blatant forward pass and it looks a reasonable win for Wuss. 22-21

Excuse my stupidity. Did we win or would we have won if you discounted the first try?

My fault...sloppy presentation. We did win 22-21, their 1st try was laughably forward, so it wasn’t really as close as the score suggests.

Next game 21:15hrs UK v Sarries.
I know Sarries are good but are they really playing a UK Sevens squad? Olympic qualification

Sarries are current Prem 7s champions.

Strong squad, including their new Vunipola, Manu.

Wuss 5 Sarries 7 at ht.

Wuss 12 - 7 at 9 mins

12 - 14 at 11 mins

12 - 21 at 12 mins

Try at 14.02mins. Final score 12 - 28

Oh well, not outclassed, and Sarries look as strong in 7s as in 15s.

Sarries, Exeter and Wasps different class. . Montgomery looks as though he has a bit of pace for a big chap.
Bristol won twice with the last play of the match.

Quarter final v 2nd seeded Ex. (Wuss seeded second from bottom)

7 mins half time, 6 man Wuss (yellow for Reece Beddows, high tackle) 14-12 up

9 mins, Wuss 19 Ex 12
10 mins, Wuss 26. Ex 12
11 mins. Wuss 26. Ex 19
Exciting stuff is 7s.
14 mins 10 sec. Wuss 26. Ex 26
Sudden death extra time. (5 mins each way or first score)
44 sec. Wuss 26 Ex 31

Well done Wuss boys against highly fancied opposition.

Thats one place above where the media/pundits normally put us !!

Have to say my enjoyment of the game against Exeter was rather spoilt by the commentators drooling over Exeter Chiefs (particularly Alastair Eykyn) ......... I expected better considering overall we looked the more likely to sneak the win.
