Sale are understood to be open to Strauss moving on despite having another year remaining on his contract. If Strauss does leave, it is not thought he will return to Glasgow.

It worked well with TJ, but didn't realise Strauss was 33. If SOB is out for a while I would probably rather wait and use the money to bring in someone who can cover 6 and 7 rather than a specialist 8 like Strauss.
